Synopsis
Starting with a girl walking through the forest she believes
she is being watched or followed. The person the follows her seem to stalk her
and film her, camera angles constantly switch between the young girls point of
view and the stalkers. Where we end in the film opening is not the end, the
audience can believe that the young girl is dead, escaped or been taken I plan
on adding a few more shots to try and illustrate my story further. It becomes a
hunt for the young girl as the police are searching for her in the shots that I
plan to add I would like to introduce one more character: the detective who
becomes extremely wrapped up the case. The shots I will add will show the
detective trying to piece together the clues with a mind map on the wall, and a
still image of the missing posters. He begins to search deeper and finds out
some very dark things about the family one of their other daughters had gone
missing too and was never found. Towards the middle it is still unclear whether
the girl is alive or dead when the audience are introduced to the family of the
missing girl it is clear that they have secrets or are hiding something. We
then find out some context on the police officer whose daughter went missing
too, this makes the audience sympathise with him more, in the end the police
officer finds the girl but she is just about breathing the kidnapper has
inflicted a lot of abuse towards her. It is hard for the audience to guess
whether she will make it or not to tell the police officer what her kidnapper looked
like, she makes it and the kidnapper turns out to be her teacher who was
obsessed with her.
